Custody:

• With agreement
  If an agreement has been signed about the publicity of the deposited or donated archives it must be observed.
   
• Without agreement
  For archive documents given into the custody of the State Archives without agreement about their publicity:
  • All documents that are not or no longer privacy-related:
    Freely accessible
  • All other archive documents:
    Authorisation of the depositor required
     
• Donated without agreement:
  For archive documents donated to the State Archives without any agreement about their publicity:
  • All documents older than 30 years that are not privacy-related:
    Freely accessible
  • All documents older than 30 years that are privacy related:
    National Archivist or his/her authorised representative + research declaration
