Sébastien Soyez
Biography
Sébastien Soyez is a Senior Record Manager & Digital Curation Adviser. He is responsible for the Records Management Policy at the State Archives, is the Supervisor of the Digital Transfer & Archiving of federal public archives, is in charge of developing new strategies & policies in digital archiving, notably by promoting research projects (a.o. digital transition, web archiving).
He holds a Specialized Master in Information & Communication Science & Technologies (Université Libre de Bruxelles, 2000) & a Master Degree in History and a Teaching Qualification Degree (ULB, 1998).
Tasks
* Digital Archivist =
Archiviste en charge de la surveillance, du transfert et de l'archivage des archives numériques des administrations fédérales belges (conseils, audits, politiques et mises en oeuvre de l'archivage électronique)
* Records manager =
Archiviste en charge de la politique et de la gestion de l'ensemble des données numériques produites et gérées par les Archives générales du Royaume durant la phase intermédiaire
