Executive Management

Karel Velle, National Archivist of Belgium, is Executive Director of the State Archives of Belgium.
In the day-to-day management of the establishment, the National Archivist is assisted by the “general departments”, including:

The administrative office, under the management of Chantale Merckaert;
The HR department, under the management of Véronique Dubois;
The facility & security department, under the management of Laurent Delcourt;
The department for Prevention and Protection in the Workplace, under the management of Philippe Fabry;
ICT, under the management of Peter Van Overveldt;
Accounts and Purchasing, under the management of Alex Salaz;
The Publications Service, under the management of Roland Van der Gracht.
